Should OLAP be installed on same server as OLTP

The OLAP and OLTP server are currently on different servers, we are
looking
at transferring the OLAP system to the same server as the OLTP server,
they will each have their own database on the OLTP server. Is this
good practice?
Any help is appreciated.
