I have an analysis services database which has 6 cubes and approx 20 shared
dimensions.

I tried to add a new cube which utilizes the shared dimensions, but could
not get the shared dimensions to show up in either the cube editor, or in the
wizard. The shared dimensions do show up in the console, and in the cube
editor within the context of other (older) cubes.

Any ideas ?

My knee jerk reation was to look at Database Roles, but all dimensions were
set to Read Unrestricted, and the Cube was checked in the "cubes to which
this role has access".
