Thanks for your post. Based on your description, I understand that you want
to restrict members using "Source Table Filter" property in the shared
dimension which is used in two cubes. Also, it seems that the filter
condition of the dimension which you need in the two cubes is different on
your side. If I have misunderstood, please feel free to let me know.
Based on my research, the "Source Table Filter" of the dimension is used to
filter the source table to restrict member, whereas this property of the
cube is used to filter the source table to restrict data. Also, in the cube
view, the property of the dimension is grayed out and cannot be set there.
Therefore, the "Source Table Filter" property of the dimension used to
restrict member is dimension-specific. I am afraid it cannot be changed in
the cube view. If your cube has different filter requests of this
dimension, it is best to create another new dimension to meet the
requirements.
