Default severe memory leak 2000 sp4 OLAP? - 12-13-2005 , 06:05 PM

I'm seeing my avaialble memory drop from 30 GB to 100 MB after a day of
processing and querying on a 64 bit OLAP 2000 Itanium box. Avaialble memory
goes back to 30 GB when the MSOLAP service is restarted. My OLAP version is
sp4(8.0.2039.0). Please advise.

Trying to go to 2005 as fast as I can, but have to re-write a lot of
automation code(dso-->amo ect.)

Let me add that the msmdsrv.exe process never shows usage of more than 6 GB
of memory(e.g. peak memory usage is 6GB)
