Default Setup FoodMart sample after installation - 07-31-2004 , 10:28 PM

Hi,

Does anybody know how to setup FoodMart sample cube after installation of
Analysis Services? I know this question is weired, cause FoodMart sample
cube should come with installation. But I am running Win XP pro and there is
a known bug that prevents anybody from logging in, even the user is in OLAP
Administrators group. Installation just fails to create the cube.

TIA

Hi,

Go to AS manager, select this server, r.click select restore database,
browse to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Samples\foodmart
2000 and restore the database.

HTH,
Bas

You can find the CAB file in the samples folder. Restore it...

I would reinstall AS under local Admin account and then give rights to
the olap admins. I would want my installation to be perfect...
