Does Analysis Services have it's own service packs or is it included within
SQL Server service packs?

If Analysis Services is installed on a node with SQL Server2000 sp3 does sp3
need to be installed again?

Pl. refer to the SQL Server 2000 SP3 download page below - Analysis
Services has a separate download file for SP3. If you install Analysis
Services separately, pl. ensure that it is the SP3 version (8.00.0760)
as well:
