Default server crash without any warning - 09-10-2006 , 07:40 AM

Hey eb
Once in some 10 days our AS server reboots, without any cleare error.
Its a 2003 sp1 server with 8 GB memory.
AS version is 2k sp4 64b.
Where would you start to look??

Should AS memory reach the server's limit, can this case
cause the server to crash??
Is there a memory leak or some other kind of problem
related to the 64 version of AS?

Or you would look at the server itself for clues?

Thanks alot for your attention
Rea

maybe a cube is corrupted.
stop the server, delete the data folder (only the folder with your own
database and cubes)
restart the server and do a full process.

(backup backup backup before anything)

Always start with the system log of Event Viewer.
