I've got exactly the same scenario using developer edition. Have you found any more info on this? "dhp" wrote: I am finding differences between Developer Edition on XP and Enterprise Edition on 2003. When it comes to semi-additive measures my Developer Edition is acting like a Standard Edition in that it applies LastNonEmpty to all dimensions, instead of just the time dimension. I am running XP Pro SP2 with SQL 2005 Developer Edition with SP1 and the cumulative hotfix to get me up to build 2153. I found the same results with just the base install, the base install and SP1, and the base install plus SP1 plus the cumulative hotfix. I have 2005 installed side by side with 2000 (as a named instance). I have tried setting the target edition in BI studio project properties to Developer and Enterprise, but it does not make any difference. I even deployed to an Enterprise Edition running on a 2003 server, but still no luck. I read everything I could about semi-additive measures in 2005, and although it made me more excited about this feature, I just could not get it to work. Finally I ran BI studio on the 2003 server, started a new project, recreated my simple cube, and everything worked as it should. If I copy the project to my XP dev box semi-additive measures no longer work. I haven't tried deploying from 2003 to my dev box yet. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Has anyone gotten the expected semi-additive behavior in Developer Edition? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David |
