Hello,

We use ASY2K with Roles security. If we in the the future
(beyond my control...) will use Novell e-directory, is it
possible to syncronize accounts and logins with a Windows
domain or AD so Roles still works ? Is the functionality
included or costs extra ? Easy job or ...

there is free tools from Microsoft to synchronize Novell and Microsoft.
Also there is tools from Novell to do the same job (not free from my
knowledge of the novell products)

That being said, however, it is important that you realized that we don't
authentication against Novell -- we always use NT authentication. The
solution that Jeje mentions assists the synchronization process; not the
underlying authentication. For more on this, read the Security
