I have 6 measures in my cube and 5 dims..

i want to be able to see things like YTD and Same Period Last Year for
whatever measures the user selects - not a YTD/MTD etc for each measure

I think I saw an article a while back suggesting using a small dim table
with 1 value and use that some how with some mdx

anything anyone can send would be most appreciated - I need to do it by
Monday!

it has an example for YTD..

for same period last year.. is it the parrallelperiod function? an example
of this would be great!! the 'Same Period Last Year' calc member also goes
into this calc dimension presumably?

Quick Q:.. the 'no calc' member used in Tom Chesters example.. users don't
want to see this..can it be removed? i'm using BO webi OLAP as the front
end.
