A/S Manager cannot view server properties -

We use 32-bit a/s servers to connect to and manage our 64-bit a/s servers.
When Windows 2003 Server sp1, or possibly the December security fix, was
applied to the 32-bit servers, the 32-bit servers could no longer display the
a/s server properties of the 64-bit servers, yet are still able to display
the a/s server properties of the 32-bit servers. (The 64-bit servers were
already on Win2003 SP1 prior to issue.) Our PCs can still display and manage
the a/s server properties on the 64-bit serves.
From one of the Win2003 sp1 servers, the "Data folder" value on the
Properties/General tab is blank, and the "Temporary folder" value displays
the documents & settings folder for whatever user is logged in, instead of
the correct values.
Seems like a registry entry has been lost, or a security issue.... Any
ideas?
Thank you in advance! |
