Default ROW or COLUMN or FILTER DIMENSION - 05-24-2005 , 02:40 PM

Hi,

Based on whether a particular dimension is selected as a row / column
dimension or a s a filter, i need to change the logic of a MDX calculated
member.

Can anyone tell me an easy way now to identify whether a dimension is
selected as a ROW, COLUMN or FILTER in an MDX Statement (Cube Browser)

Thanks,

Hi

What for a frond end do your use?
I suppose, that in pure MDX only possible way is to determine the current
member in context of you CM.
Also it is possible to determine whether a Dimension selected on one of the
Axis (rows oder colums) with the MDX function Axis.
