Hi,

I don't know if it is a bug or it is on purpose (even if I don't understand
the reason).

When I try to set the dimenion persmision in the role editor window it
reads the whole dimension! This is happend only on parent-child dimenions.
I have some big parent-child dimensions (40.000+ elements) and it takes
2-3min. to load the dimension in the tree view control of the role editor
wich is very annonying especially when I have not few roles that must be
ckecked/modified.

In the AS2000 it was not like this, there the dimensions were read only when
you open a knot.


I know that the design with 40000+ elements in a parent child dimension is
not good but we have at the moment no budget avilable to make the
switch.(maybe neyt year).

Do you know if this issue will be addresse in the future SP ?
Is there an workaround?
