I have an AS2K Model and want to switch from MOLAP to ROLAP (because dims
become to user 1.8GB RAM and I cannt process anymore without an MEMORY
error).
I have tryed to create needed Aggregatons Manauly(by Partition aggregation
utility or by DSO) but the processing of the cube creates ony two
aggregations of 20 (only two indexed views and no tables) and in the
prcessing log there is only the entry for the starttime, endtime and and an
duration of 0 secs. - and no create view or table staments.

The MOLAP model has corrently 2 cubes each partitionen by time on a monthly
base.

After restart of as2k server he needs 1.8 RAM - only for dims - then the
process of one partition is possible, but a secound one results again in an
Memory error. The problem is the size of the dimensions - the problem is a I
cannot reduce them - one solution is an rolap model but there as2k has a
strange dimension querying methond and the other problem is AS2K does not
create Aggregations for some reasons (in the RDBMS).

On other way could be the handling of VLD (very large dimensions) but after
i have configured the regkey to 40 MB for the VLDMThreshold there is no
change in the bahavior and 10 of my dims has an dimtree file bigger then
50MB!!!
Why are those dimensions not hanled by the MSMDVLDM.EXE ? or how can i
verify this?
