Hi,
I have fully restricted Position dimension in cube HR for a particular
user role in MS Analysis Manager.
Now when I discover dimensions by XMLA with a user included in that
role, I receive all dimensions but the levels for Position dimension
are not retrieved. If I want only those dimensions that are accessible
to user I have to query OLAP three times i.e. for dimension, for
hierarchies and than for levels (if levels are not retrieved it is
assumed that the dimension is restricted). Is there something that I
can add to the message in restriction list so that when I discover the
dimensions, MSOLAP do not send me the dimensions that are fully
restricted?
