Default restoring an AS2000 database in AS2005 - 02-07-2006 , 12:51 PM

I just upgraded to AS2005 and have a database that was backed-up from AS2000
that I need to restore. AS2005 doesn't recognize the .cab extension and I'm
not sure how to get this database restored in 2005. Any ideas?

You are correct. The AS2000 backup is not compatible with AS2005.

The way for you to get your database into AS2005 is to find another AS2000
and restore the database.

At this point you will be able to use Migration wizard to migrate the
database from AS2000 to AS2005.
