Can't be done in AS2K (you can in AS2K5).
For AS2K, you best bet is to select the database; then right-click on the
server and select Paste. As part of the paste operation the system sees that
the object already exists and prompt you for a new name. Enter in the new
database name. Then do a full process of the database and you are off and
running :-)

Hope that helps.

Thanks Dave

I need to restore new cab files everytime I recieve them. I was rather
trying to reduce the downtime by restoring the database in a new name and
then renaming it to original database.

If i am doing a restore, it is going to replace the existing database. My
cocnerns are if the restore fails at the right place, there can be a
situation where I am left with no database in the Analysis Server.

Do you have any suggestion on how I can achive this

Thanks
GS
