Default Remote sqlserver analysis services 2005 authorization - 06-21-2006 , 08:28 AM

Hi,

I've set up a server with the Microsoft SQL server Analysis Services on
a Windows 2003 Server. The server is set up according to this website:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../httpasws.mspx

The security settings for the olap virtual directory in the IIS are set
on anonymous logon.
This works fine. I can call the database from the client with the
http://MYSERVER/olap/msmdpump.dll

But now i want to only have Integrated Windows authentication. But when
i change the settings to this, i can't connect to the server. Is there
any whay to set the username and password for this kind of login???

thanks,
Ambiance

The error message that i am getting is:

com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.client.p2p.HttpSOAPConn ection post
SEVERE: SAAJ0008: Bad Response; Unauthorized
Foutmelding: java.security.PrivilegedActionException:
com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Bad response:
(401Unauthorized

It is thus clearly that the call is unauthorized. Therefore the
question is:

Is there a way to include a username and password to acces the IIS
virtual directory olap on the other machine.
