Default Remote datasource cannot be found in the metadata - 02-23-2006 , 11:52 AM

I've been receiving this error across all the dimensions, regardless of what
data source I'm connected to.

Any idea?

I'm guessing you have some issue in your DSV -- can you try the following:

1. Right-click on the DSV in the solution and select "View code"
2. In the XML that you are shown, search for mspropataSourceID=
3. If you find it, it means you somehow added a table from a remote
(secondary) data source to the DSV.
4. You can delete that table from the DSV and it should start working or
just remove the mspropataSourceID attribute from the XML if that table
exists in the primary data source also.

HTH,
Akshai
