Can the fact table in a real time cube be a view and if so are there any
restrictions that i should trake into consideration?

to use a view, insure that the "schema binding" option is activated
look at the BOL to see other contraints around indexed views.
nullable columns are not used in an indexed view but there is other
constraints.
