This depends on the version of Excel you are using and the version of OLAP
services. Office 2000 only included the provider for SQL 7 cubes, so you have
to run an install program from the SQL 2000 distribution CD if you are using
that version to build cubes. The file is ptslite.exe and should only be used
for Office 2k desktops (it will mess up 2002/2003 installs). I don't think
versions of office prior to 2k support OLAP at all.
