I have a cube that has a dimension called Division. I want to restrict a
particular user so that he only sees 1 of the Divisions - easy enough to
do
with Roles.
I'm using OWC as my cube viewer. When I log in as this user, he correctly
only sees the 1 Division that I've given him access to. The problem that
I'm having however, is that if I have Subtotals turned on, which is the
default behavior for owc, the total includes numbers from the other 2
Divisions that this user doesn't have access to - and can't see. Is there
any way to prevent this?
You need to enable visual totals in the definition of the dimension
security. It is done in the third tab in UI.
