Thanks for the reply. But my question is not "where can I get the installable for PTS SP3". My question is "How do I know the version of PTS that is currently running on my machine"

Check the version of the previous files that is in the installable for PTS.
Simply the file property(right klick).

Download SP3 for AS. With that download is a separate folder for PTS. Check
the names of the files in that folder and use search on your local
workstation to find the same files. Check the version in Sp3 with the
version on your local machine. I do not rember the exact name of the files
but they areincluded in SP3

I think you can check it like this:

According to the sp3 installation guide / info the version number for sp3 is
8.00.760.

This number can be seen in Entreprise manager/SQL Server Group/About and in
Analysis Manager/Analysis Servers/About

And if you search for the msolap80.dll which I believe is the client PTS you
can use properties on the file and see version number - must say the same.
