You may be able to model this through Excel but this would be dependant on
the set-up of your cubes.

Are the currencies values specific to the country location when showing
the data, or are there potentially multiple currencies per country?
You can definitely macro this but hits is not ideal!

Are the unit measures dependent on the product or product code?

Hi All

I store currencies and Unit of measure values in the MS OLAP cubes like
the
following

Unit of Measures

Material QtySold

ABC 10000 PC
DEF 12 LB

Similarly the sales volumes are stored as follows:

Material Sales$

ABC 275 CAD
DEF 800 USD
950 950 GBP

Can you please let me know how I can display the value and
the currency indicator like 275 CAD in the same Excel cell
similarly how can I display the unit of measure like 250 LB
in the same Excel cell. Currently I am storing the currency
and the unit of measure as a dimension in the MS OLAP cube.

Also how can I alternatively display currency as a prefix
notation like:
CAD 275
USD 800
GBP 950

Please advice how I can display my currencies and unit of
measure from the cube into a single Excel cell Hyperion
enables me to do this.

Thanks
Belinda
