You might want to check your IIS security settings.

The MSDN article
"Improved Web Connectivity in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services"
includes a detailed discussion of possible scenarios, under the "IIS and
security" title.

Hi,

I´m trying to implement an OWC based-system over Internet, and I need to
connect OWC control to SQL Server Analysis Services 2000 SP3 ..... I connect,
but my custom cube roles dosen't restrict data.

OWC connection string contains this Analysis Services connection string:
Provider=MSOLAP.2;Data Source=http://local/OLAP/;Initial
Catalog=Ecurso;Client Cache Size=25;Auto Synch Period=10000; User
ID=kasolution\heliom; Password=olappass;

Cube Role restrict a Partner Dimension to kasolution\heliom, but when its
connect he can view all members (and no only one.)

Please help.

Thanks!!!

Is kasolution\heliom in the OLAP Administrators local machine group or are
they a machine administrator? If so, then they always see all data;
regardless of the security settings.
