Jamie, ZhaoHui Thx for your answers. Yes the named instance and the sqlbrowser service are running. It's very strange. I'm able to create dimensions, cubes, mining objetcs and deploy them. However on some tab of SQL BI dev studio I obtain the error. This is true for example on the Analysis Services Browser Tab and Data Mining and "Mining accuracy chart" tab. I've tried to use localhost\namedinstance and mymachinename\namedinstance -> same errors I've also try to reinstall SQLServer2005_ASOLEDB9.msi -> same errors. The errors are : o Errors in the OLE DB provider. Could not connect to the redirector. Ensure that the SQLBrowser service is running on the 'localhost' server. o Errors in the OLE DB provider. An error occurred while named instance information was being retrieved from the SQLBrowser service on the 'localhost' server. Reminder : SQL 2005 is installed on my machine side by side with SQL 2000.
