Resigning aggregation invalid the cube/partition structure, which requires
reprocessing.

Hello All

I am currently supporting several very large Analysis Services MOLAP cubes.
The team that built the cubes initially did not do a great job of designing
the aggregations. I am confident that I can greatly improve query time by
modifying the aggregations but I would like to do so without having to
re-process the cube. Reprocessing would take a long time (weeks?).

Is there a way to change the aggregations so that they are updated "in
place" without having, in effect, re-load the cube? The leaf data is stored
in the cube so Analysis Services should be able to build new aggregations
without having to re-process/re-load.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
