Default Re: Business Scorecard Default Time Slice - 08-13-2004 , 05:57 PM

I think I have a partial solution, but I'ma neophyte and I still need help
on getting the previous column enabled.

The name of my time dimension is Date and setting the MDX expression for the
default member to:

Date.LastChild.LastChild.LastChild.LastChild.lag(1 )

correctly displays yesterday, which is what I want, but this seems to
disable the previous column in the scorecard.

Can anyone tell me why I get a blank previous column when I use the above.
If I manually select a date in the web part control, the previous column
works fine.

According to the Bus Scorecard help, if no default time slice is idetified
in
the web part, then BS will use the default slice specified for the cube
dimension.

I have attempted to do this by setting the default slice to
[Month].LastChild.LastChild.lag(1) in an attempt to have the scorecard
default to "last month" (ie. if today is August 5, I want the slice to
default to July)

This works fine when I view it in Excel, but BS uses All Level even though
I've set All Level to No in Analysis services. Any ideas on how to set
the
default time slice to last month?
