Hi,

Did you apply sp3 for Analysis server on this AS manager machine?

Do you got enough rights on the directories mentioned in the error? Make
this user for example a user of the local administrator group and try
again, this will tell us if you have problems with rights on this AS
manager client.

Hello Bas,

Thanks for the hint.
Working as an OLAP administrator, I have that error message come up, but
as the Local Administrator I have no error message. I just wanted to
define the difference in terms of role between an OLAP administrator and
Local administrator.

I have the SP2 on my SQL Server not the SP3.
I think I have figured this particular aspect of my questions out,
please help with the remaining parts of the questions. Thank you.
