Can anyone Confirm that this simply doesn't work in SSAS 2005 ?? or else
please tell me how to make it work. Step by step.

In the User Hierarchies, pick the level(s) you want to be ragged, and
set the HideMemberIf property. You can hide if the name is null, or or
is the same name as parent etc.

Hope this helps

Unfortunately it doesn't because this is exactly what I've done. I got the
classic Hierarchy in my customer dimension Country - Region - City -
Customer. region is NULL but it is still there when i browse my dimension.
Changing the data so region and country is the samme and use the
hidememberid parentname won't work either So I must be missing something
or else it simply doesn't work! Can you make it work ?

I am not sure whether this hint is helpful for you, but you could also try
ragging a hierarchy by adjusting the dimension security.

But keep in mind that this will only work if your user does not have the
server role. Otherwise, the ragging won't work.

HTH,
Timo

Thanx for your help. I've just got confirmed that it is not working properly
and it is an issue that is going to be corrected in SP 1.
