Default Question about using "date()" MDX function - 11-17-2004 , 03:45 AM

Dear all,

I have created a calculated member which MDX expression is "date()". The
data is presented in Excel. In some computers, the calculated member show
current date. However, in some ohter computers, the value of calculated is
invalid or zero. Why?

Thanks for responding.

Date() is not an MDX function, it is VBA function. Can you check on those
computers where it doesn't work, whether calling Date() from VBA works ?

Hi,

the date()-function is using the date and regional settings of the client.
Maybe this is a reason for "unexpected" members that are invalid.

cheers,
Matthias
