When attempting to install the Analysis Server PTSLite or PTSFull.EXE (all SPK versions), I get an error of "Invalid Language Type" and the install exits with a failure. The PC has Windows 2000 Professional, MDAC 2.8 and Regional settings for "English US"

What might be causing this error

I learned you got the following error message when you try to install the
Analysis Server PTSLite or PTSFull.EXE.
"Invalid Language Type"

If I have misunderstood, please feel free to let me know.

What's the language version of your operation system? You may try to
download the corresponding (Language) Sql2kasp3.exe and run the ptsfull.exe
file in the extracted PTS folder
