I have always loaded the time dimension once a year. I add
all the 52/53 weeks at the beginning of the year instead
of adding one week each week.

What are the pro/cons of preloading time dimension.

Pros of using in advance:
If the "Time" is shared dimension, you just have to
process it when you add new dates.

Cons of using in advance:
No major impact apart from the fact that extra date have
to be loaded into the memory for the queries to run.
