Hi! I have an OLAP server running on a DLL 2850 2 proc 3,0 GHZ. When I use OLAP for statistics it only uses 25% (EXACTLY) of the processor. If I start 2 it uses 50% (EXACTLY) and so on. Is there any way of letting OLAP use as much as it want or set a fixed value somewhere? Setup: Win 2K, SQL Std 2K REG Jörgen Persson |

I suspect you may have hyper-threading turned on, so it looks like a quad box. In that case, exactly 25% equates to 100% of one virtual processor.
