I am getting different results when I process a cube from DTS vs processing directly from Analysis Services.

Specifically it seems that I am not cleaning out some dimensions - i.e dimesions that no longer have data or references in the fact table are persisting when processing from DTS. When I process from AS directly the dimensions are correctly rebuilt. In both cases the processing settings have been set to do full processing and there are no shared dimensions.
