Default Process cubes from command line - 09-23-2003 , 09:36 AM

Hi all,

Is there a command-line prompt for processing cubes, refreshing dims etc
etc?
There is for archiving, so I assume there is for processing. Can't find it
in BOL or elsewhere though...

Best Regards,

Richard R.

Not directly. What you can do though is pick up the Parallel Process
Utility from the SQL 2k Resource Kit. That has a command line interface
that will do the trick for you. There might be a new version of this
posted on the Microsoft OLAP community on MSN. There's an updated version
in the works. Even if you don't need parallel processing capabilities you
could still use the utility.

You could also just write a little vb script which you can call from a
command line.
