Hi,

I´ve just instaled SP4 and all my procs with OPENQUERY(MSOLAP) statemets
dont work anymore. I´m receiving this message:

Server: Msg 7358, Level 16, State 1, Procedure rc_OLAP_semana_default, Line 40
Could not execute query. The OLE DB provider 'MSOLAP' did not provide an
appropriate interface to access the text, ntext, or image column
'[a].[Measures].[MeasuresLevel].[MEMBER_CAPTION]'.
OLE DB error trace [Non-interface error: Could not get a storage interface
for BLOB the column: ProviderName='MSOLAP' TableName='[a]',
ColumnName='[Measures].[MeasuresLevel].[MEMBER_CAPTION]'].

I´ve already instaled Windows 2003 SP1, so my MDAC version is 2.8 with SP2
and I´ve upgraded the Catalog of Linked Servers as described in the SP4´s
ReadMe file(3.7)

Does anybody knows how to fix this problem?

Yes - this is known regression in SQL Server linked server functionality,
which is being fixed as post-SP4 QFE.
