Default problem to display calculated dimension members in pivot table!!! - 04-21-2005 , 11:45 AM

i created several calculated dimension members and don't understand why in
excel the calculated members can't be displayed under the dimension. anybody
can give me some hints? thanks a lot.

another question is, in [dimension].[all dimenstion], the calculated
dimension members shouldn't be counted, right? thanks again

What client tool are you using? This is a known restriction of Office 2000,
i.e. that it would only display calculated measures; not calculated members
in other dimensions.

Hmmm.. then it should work. Have you used any other client tools, e.g. OWC,
Cube browser in AM, MDX Sample app, etc.? First task is to narrow it down
directly to Excel XP only.
