Default Problem with Creating Offline OLAP using Excel - 03-01-2004 , 11:26 AM

I have a virtual cube which is created from 2 base cubes. I have connected
to the virtual cube using an excel pivot table, and can successfully
navigate all the measures and dimensions.

The problem comes when I have try to create an offline OLAP cube file for
this virtual cube. The resulting offline OLAP cube file does not contain
any Measures from base cube #2, nor does it contain any calculated members
which depend on measures in base cube #2. I've tried to diagnose the
problem, eliminating certain dimesions when creating the offline cube, to no
avail... I have absolutely no idea why this is not working.

Has anyone experience the same thing? Or has anyone successfully created an
offline cube from a Virtual cube without losing measures or calculated
members?

Thanks,
Jim
