Windows XP Home. SQL Server 2000 installed Locally. Analysis Server installed locally. Install went beautifully. When trying to Register the local server, entering localhost (or the server name), I get the error: Analysis Manager: Unable to Connect to the Registry on the Server (ROBBOLL), or you are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group on the server. On Windows XP Home, where how do I check to see if the OLAP Administrators group is configured correctly? Any ideas on how to deal with this problem? Thanks for any tips. RBollinger |

You must be sure to have servicepack 3a installed too. You hit the nail on the head. All I did was add SP 3a and all connectivity problems were solved. Thank you. -----Original Message----- right click "my computer" then "manage" after, navigate to find the user & groups, and under groups, you'll find the OLAP Administrator group.
