Hi,

I'm using excel as a client interface to write data back
to the olap cube and the cube is created as a writeback
cube linking to table in SQL Server 2000 with SP3.
When applying permission rules on an OLAP dimension for
an OLAP database role, the writeback cannot work until
the role is edited in the Cube Role Editor in the
Analysis Manager, and the OK button is clicked. Is this a
bug in OLAP? Pls advice.
