Default Problem with Calculated Measure using Excel Function Library - 11-14-2006 , 12:54 PM

Hi All,

I have a cube which has some measures which are based on excel function
library (using power function).

Users can see these columns when they brose the cube through Excel or
simple HTML but through reporting service they can't see these
columns. It is the problem with reporting service not any access
related problem in the cube or any IE setting.

This problem is only with calculate measures which are based on
function in excel library.

I made some users as Admin (not Olap or reporting services Admin) on
the server which is hosting Reporting Services and they could see those
calculated measures through reporting services. As you know this is
not a solution as we cann't makes users admin on the server.

This is extremely critical issue for us and would appreciate your help
on this.

Can you use the MDX power ("^") operator instead?

Arithmetic Operators

MDX supports the arithmetic operators listed in the following table.

^ (Power)
Raises one number by another number.
