Hi, Users on my Domain are able to access OLAP cubes via excel, but those not on domain (users with laptops) are unable to. I see there is an Option in excel, while setting up the connection to OLAP Server, is to access the cube via http and iis. Is this possible? If so, where can I find information in getting iis to connect to the OLAP server? I am using MSAS 2000. Thanks |

AS2000 enterprise edition can be accessed through HTTP connections (look at the msolap.asp file from the enterprise edition CD rom or installation) also, you can try this: connect a shared folder on the AS server from the non-domain station, then open the cube. you can be authenticated using this procedure.
