Hi,
Can we develop MDX scripts to query the data from Cubes
using Crystal Reports. If not then what tool do we use.

O2OLAP can help you. No MDX knowledge is required and you can achieve this
for two environments, namely

Excel and the web.

Data capture is available through both environments.

Yes, Crystal Reports cxan access Analysis Services cubes, but it's not a
natural fit. Unless you are very committed to using Crystal to produce
static reports from Analysis Services, there are much more suitable
front-ends available.

I would suggest trying the SoftPro Manager 4.0 (evaluation copy is available
on download). It is a very good MDX tool, supporting OLAP parameters, multy
query files and with user friendly educational MDX Editor.
And, by the way, it is also one of the very few certified tools available on
the market
today(MS DWA member). You can get more details on the www.softpro.hr
