Default To place Measures columnwise in a spreadsheet - 02-25-2004 , 08:21 AM

I have created a cube with a couple of measures.(say M1 and M2 )
I then created an Excel spreadsheet connecting the cube as an external data
and tried to place the measures in the spreadsheet.
They will only be placed rowwise whereas the customer wants them placed
columnwise.

e.g. They we want

M1 M2

and not

M1
M2

Any ideas?

Guess You a "Data" item representing the Two Measures (M1 and M2) in the excel spreadsheet after you have pulled them in. Now Drag the "Data" item and put them in the Data Area or over the "Total" Cell

HTH
