Default PivotTable Connects to OLAP cube but CONTROL buttons disabled - 08-10-2003 , 11:13 AM

Hello,

I have succesfully built an OLAP cube in Analysis Server. I am trying
to connect to it using the MS pivot table control. However, when I do
all of the buttons on the control are disabled. Is it a permission
problem somewhere in windows configuration? From analysis server, all
of the permissions and access rights seem OK.

Please help!

Are you using XP web components on a 2000 platform ? If you do so you can
only view the data.

If you are using pivot table web component, you'll also
need a valid Office XP license on the client... otherwise
the interactive functions cannot be used/are greyed out.

Check the Microsoft web pages for their licensing
policies.
