i am getting the connectivity problem to the web-page at server.

At server i have saved he Pivot Tables in EXCEL as web-pages.

All these HTML files are store in a folder c:\alm-reports.

This is given the sharing privilege.

I have 6 web pages.

Asset, Liability, Cash, Deposits etc.....


In the OS level i have created the following users

ALM
ALM4
RM

All these users are members of the OLAP Administrators Group in OS.

All the above user systems and the Server are in the ALM Work Group.

In the OLAP manager in the Database roles the following are created:

Role: ALM
Memberships: ALM,ALM4,RM (all the above NT Users)
CUBES: all the CUBES are selected for the access
Dimensions: Default ( all the accessible)

Server OS: Windows 2000
server bame: ALMSERVER
workgroup: ALM
Clients: Win-98

whenever i try to access the web-pages i get following error:

"PIVOT TABLE cound not connect to the datasouce Asset.
for information about the datasouce consult the cretor of the file"

ofx800004005 can not connect to the server "ALMSERVER"

Once you suggested open in the EXCEL at the client machine
and to publish there itself.

I tried to do the same.

when i try to get the <GET DATA>

when i try access the ALMSERVER for OLAP-server the error is as follows:

"access can not be authenticated. security reasons"

When the OS users are members of the OLAP administrators, all the
macines are in the same work group and all these are inturn defined as
the
members of the ALM Role of the OLAP database role,

why does the above error occur...

HOW TO RECTIFY THE ABOVE error

i have written mdx query but how to deploy it on WEB with ASP.


i wrote a small English fquery also. How to deploy it on WEB with ASP.
