Can we create calculated members for a specific perspective?

All the calculations are defined in the cube. If you need to build different
calculations on top of the same data - you can use linked measure groups for
that.
It is possible to hide specific calculated members from the schema rowsets
in perspectives.

Will linked Measure Groups cause a performance problem?

In my case i am going to do a linked measure groups coming

a) from different cubes in the same database
b) from different cubes in 2 different databases.

Thanks a lot,

Venkat.
