There's a single dimension I'm having an issue with attempting to process.

The dimension will read about 1.9 million rows, however once it gets to 478k
AS just grinds to a halt and starts to process very slowly (1k rows a
second). It's a pretty beefy box, 64 bit, 16 procs (Itanium), 32GB RAM.

Any ideas?


We're running 64bit.

Max threads: 16 threads
Large level: 1000 memebers

Min memory: 7168MB
Memory conservation threshold: 14336MB

Read-ahead buffer: 4MB
Process buffer: 8192
