Default PC dimensions and aggregations - 02-25-2004 , 11:28 AM

Hi,

why in a cube with PC-dimensions and normal dimensions it is not possible
to create aggregations precalculated for the 'all level' of PC dimensions
with the levels of other dimensions?

Thanks

Mauro

I am confused. Of course, you can. If you look at default FoodMart database
in HR cube with the Partition Manager (from the SQL Server 2000 Resource
Kit), you will see that there are many aggregates defined at the ALL level
for Accounts.
There must be some other setting that is causing you difficulties. Can you
explain what you are seeing in terms of Food Mart?
